In Reiki centers all over the world, very often, the first 2 levels of Reiki are taught together.
This is very advantageous, as with the Reiki 2nd level method and thanks to the symbols it is possible to enhance the Reiki treatments. This becomes useful for children who may not have the patience to be treated, or for the elderly where it takes a long time, or for animals that maybe do not touch.
It is possible to do both in person and in distance treatment when it is not possible to see the person live. In this way you can contnuate the treatments even if the person is not present and therefore the energy supply is not lacking.
The 1st Degree of Reiki is the level of the physical. It is the course where you learn to work on the body. You will learn both to do self-treatments on yourself, and to do treatments on other people. You will also learn how to give energy to animals, water, food, plants and crystals.
The 2nd Degree of Reiki is the mental level. The 2nd level Reiki is also a completion of the 1st level Reiki. Now you can purify the environments, call up more energy quickly, make unconscious treatments and then mentally change to a bad habit, you can do distance treatments to people who are away from you, or to groups of people, or causes (for example for world peace, for hunger in the world). You can also do Reiki to your goals if you wish.
The 2nd level Reiki course is the completion of the 1st level Reiki course.
